The fundamental framework of the cyber-physical traffic network for coordinating connected automated vehicles at an intersection is developed. A multi-agent-based traffic signal optimization scheme is formulated that can flexibly coordinate any number of vehicles for their smooth crossing the intersection. The vehicles as physical agents may pass the intersection smoothly utilizing the timings of traffic lights provided in advance. In cyberspace, the durations of upcoming traffic lights are computed by a group of cyber agents using a stochastic gradient-based method known as broadcast control of multi-agent systems. In addition, as planned, we have developed a fuzzy tuned vehicle control scheme for eco-driving that utilizes road grade information from a digital road map. The proposed schemes are evaluated through microscopic traffic simulation at various penetration rates of the automated vehicles, and performances are compared with the existing schemes. Besides the above works, already published in high-impact journals, we also have considerable progress in developing intelligent driving system for automated vehicles on multi-lane roads based on intervehicle and infrastructure-based communication.   • 次世代道路交通システムのためのグローカル交通流制御, Glocal Traffic Control of Next Generation Transportation Systems, 井村 順一; 石崎 孝幸; 早川 朋久; KAMAL MD・ABDUS・SAMAD, 日本学術振興会, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, 科学研究費助成事業 基盤研究(A), Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (A), 基盤研究(A), Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (A), 東京工業大学, Tokyo Institute of Technology, 2018年04月01日, 2022年03月31日, 本年度は,まずは,制御のための交通流階層ネットワークモデリング理論におけるモデリング手法を統合したグローカル交通流制御理論の構築に向けた基礎理論の構築を行った。つぎに,個々の車両の速度制御や交差点でのさらなる効果的な交通流制御理論を構築した。また,制御系設計プラットフォームとして大規模交通流シミュレータを構築した。 具体的には,つぎのとおりである。 1.車両速度制御,信号機制御,エリア制御の3階層で構成されるグローカル制御のための基礎理論を構築した。特に上位層の制御については,マクロスコピック基本図をもとに確率的最適制御を行う手法を提案した。 2.信号機制御と車両制御の協調連携制御において,これまで提案してきた,信号機の最適制御のみ,車両速度の最適制御のみ,両方の協調最適制御の3つの場合について,1つの交差点に着目して,その平均移動速度の差を調査した。その結果,協調最適制御の有用性が検証できたが,車両の速度制御よりも,信号機の最適制御の効果が非常に高いことがわかり,今後の協調制御におけるトレードオフの目途になりえる知見が得られた。 3.東京都墨田区錦糸町近辺の30の交差点をモデルに組み込み,30の信号機と様々な車両台数から成る大規模シミュレータを構築し,この区域を3エリアに分けて1で構築した階層制御の手法の有効性を検討した。まず,本シミュレータより,様々な車両台数でシミュレーションを実施し,マクロスコピック基本図を導出した。その上で,制御しない場合,従来の信号機制御のみの場合,従来の階層制御,提案する階層制御の4つの場合に対して数値実験を行った結果,提案手法が最も効果が高く,従来の階層制御に比べても1.5倍程度の高い性能が得られた。, 18H03774

In particular, a modeling method called here clustered model reduction has been extended to a wider class of network systems.
